At Croatia Poliklinika minor surgical procedure can be performed in the field of general surgery, urology, ophthalmology and dermatology. Besides, digestive tract endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) under short-acting anaesthesia can also be performed at our Polyclinic. Where necessary, our doctors can perform certain minimally invasive vascular, abdominal and proctological surgical interventions during the patient’s stay at a day hospital.
The day hospital includes all services required for patient monitoring over 4 to 8 hours after the diagnostic assessment or therapeutic intervention. These most frequently include digestive tract examinations (gastroscopy and colonoscopy with anaesthesia) or minimally invasive surgical procedures such as laser vein treatment, laser surgery of haemorrhoids, perianal fistulas or pilonidal sinus, mole removal and eyelid correction.
